You pretty much hit the nail on the head with this one Orrin. After 26 years in law enforcement I came to the opinion that federal judges, with their lifetime appointments, were some of the vainest and most hubris filled people on the planet. Elevate that federal judge to the Supreme Court and the hubris goes through the roof.
