Today is Thanksgiving here in the US. One of the many traditions associated with this holiday is the local 5K or 10K Turkey Trot. This morning I ran a 10K. At the age of 68 my time was much slower than in my 20s. But it was two minutes faster than any 10K I've run since turning 65! That is a reason to keep running no matter how old or how slow we may become. I think I'll pour the single malt tonight to celebrate.
