Since retiring in 2011 we've lived in Colorado, Florida and now Tennessee. As you travel and explore remember that there is a big difference between vacationing somewhere and actually living there. The most walker friendly place we lived was Fernandina Beach, Florida. But it's been "discovered" and housing costs have climbed. Good luck .
