Mike, thank you for reading and commenting. I’m not sure where we disagree. The Good Samaritan showed his love for someone that he was not supposed to love. I don’t really see how that would be an example that it isn’t necessary to love God.

You would have to help me on the instances of Jesus doubting God. What are the verses you are referring too? I must have not interpreted them the same way.

I’ve never considered Jesus as believing or not believing in science. Since the Gospel of John is explicit in stating that Jesus was with God in the beginning and nothing was created with out him then it could be interpreted that Jesus/God created science. Interesting thought.
