I'm 66 and retired and don't feel a bit irrelevant. I suppose that's because I don't care what the younger generation thinks about me. My contentment comes from within and I'm very content. My wife and I go where we want and do what we enjoy. What is irrelevant is what anyone else thinks about us. The younger generation can go on being the younger generation and I will be me. I wouldn't trade this stage of life for any that have gone before.
