I grew up attending a United Methodist church which family members still attend. I moved away or I would still be attending it as well. They are currently going through the same disafiliation process. I have conflicted feelings. The Bible teaches what it teaches about homosexuality. No doubt. But Jesus also teaches love for everyone, including those that most people have a hard time loving. I don't know. I think I would rather be criticized for being too loving than not enough.
