I agree Barry. Political correctness and this idea that no one should ever be offended is utter nonsense. When we write and publish we better have some damned thick skin because everyone isn't going to agree with us. I don't mind. If someone reads my articles and chooses to say that I'm dumber than a bag of hammers, then fine! Say it. It doesn't offend me and it shouldn't offend any other writer. As someone famous must have said, "If you can't stand the heat then stay out of the effin' kitchen."
