Hey Nick, welcome back. Yes, the Bible contains both the Old Testament and the New Testament and some people put more emphasis on the Old and some the New.

As a Christian I put my emphasis on the teachings of Jesus.

Love. Forgiveness. Nonjudgementalism (is that a word?).
