Good question Lauri! The Holy Ghost, or Holy Spirit as it is sometimes written, is the third part of the Trinity. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. As I’ve said before, I’m no scholar of any kind but the way I understand it the Holy Ghost is both God and separate from God just like Jesus.

The Holy Spirit is God’s way of communicating with or having his presence felt by us humans. In the Bible, the Holy Spirit appears at the baptism of Jesus and is also mentioned as entering into Christians and enabling them to live the way God desires.

The concept of the Trinity has always left me shaking my head so I hope this makes sense. Thank you so much for reading and commenting.
